What is Reiki? - Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. What is Life Path Reiki? - Life Path Reiki 'works to clear and neutralize blocks and resistance to a true life path. It helps to light the way and provide guidance on the spiritual life journey. It assists in making decisions, finding helpers along the way and deciding on proper courses of action.'

What is Karuna Ki Reiki? - Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Parjna or wisdom must accompany Karuna in order to have the right effect. Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings that are working to end suffering on Earth. Compassionate Heart Karuna-Ki form of Reiki is not more powerful than Usui or Tibetan Reiki; it is just different. While some of the symbols are the same, Karuna-Ki gives a new perspective on the energy. It appears to work on all the energy bodies at the same time, unlike the Usui system, where certain symbols work on certain levels of the mind-body-spirit. With the use of the Karuna-Ki Symbols rather than feeling the energy flow through the practitioner into the recipient, it seems to surround them, thus enveloping the recipient of the Energy on a cellular as well as a spiritual level in the etheric, physical, and spiritual bodies. www.krystalchamber.org/karuna

As we progress down our spiritual path, we are faced with the task of healing spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and psychological issues that have become part of our energy field. Sometimes these issues are from our current incarnation and other times they are carryover issues from other lifetimes. If left unhealed, these issues repeat over and over again. As souls on a spiritual journey, we are here to grow, learn, experience and heal. A healing session is comprised of two components: An individual trained in a healing modality who serves as the conduit of energy and a willing client who seeks to clear issues, live a better life and experience soul growth. Together this partnership enables the client to receive healing energy directed from the Divine. Because of the uniqueness and personal level of each healing session, all experiences will vary. Classes/Workshops I teach * **

Usui Reiki Level 1: This introductory class gives you a life changing experience as you are attuned/initiated to the Reiki energy, You will learn the history of Reiki, the energy centers/chakras, Reiki symbols, etc., Once you are attuned you can send Reiki energy to all living things. Twenty-one days after receiving your attunement you are considered a Reiki 1 practitioner. This class will teach you how to help others to heal and to self-heal. Finally, you will learn the Reiki hand positions and give/receive Reiki sessions with your classmates.

Usui Reiki Level 2:  This second level of Reiki will attune you to a higher level of Reiki. You will learn additional symbols and how to send Reiki long-distance.  This level brings in more energy into your physical body. Additionally this level of Reiki is good for healing situations, addictions and deepening your commitment to Reiki.

Usui Reiki Master: This level provides you with the opportunity to finalize your Reiki training. You receive your final attunement and symbols. Additionally, you become learn how to give attunements for all levels, learn how to teach Reiki, etc. You can use this final level to step into other forms of Reiki including Shamballa, Kundalini, Karuna, etc.
