I fell in love with Reiki many years ago.  What is Reiki?  Reiki  I think my love affair began with my Reiki I class.  I loved the energy of it; the warmth and the way it made me feel.  Along the way, I continued my studies to become a master in three different traditions.  Today, I am a Reiki Master in the Usui, Shamballa and Karuna Ki traditions. 

Several months ago, I was guided to begin studying Goddess culture, teachings and wisdom.  While I had always been aware of the Goddess, I hadn’t done any studying with regard to what the Goddess represented.  When I began reading and researching the Goddess, I was overwhelmed at how ‘right’ the whole culture felt to me.  It embraced women, it empowered women, it honored women’s bodies as divine and it deepened the connection with Spirit.  How could something so right have taken so long to come into my life?  I guess I needed to be ready to embrace it wholeheartedly.   I did embrace it and I continue to do so.

During meditation, I was guided to create a Reiki system that would empower women with the Goddess.  The system came to me in the form of a symbol.  This symbol is what I will be attuning everyone to during the attunement process.  However, before attuning all of you, I attuned myself to the symbol and began working with the energy of this system.  I worked with the symbol each night and took notes on its affects and effects.  I was AMAZED!!  I began to re-experience past lives in which I was a part of Goddess cultures all over the world.  It was beautiful.  I vividly recalled the times when women and the Goddess were the empowered ones who existed on this planet.  We took our roles seriously in those lifetimes because we were responsible for the food we fed our families and for carrying on the cycles of life and death.  We valued both life and death quite equally in those times and accepted the importance of each cycle.  Also during this time, women’s bodies were considered divine.  We were the bringers of life. Women were treated in a manner that is so different from today’s attitudes.  I found that the more I worked with the symbol and continued my Goddess studies, the more I re-connected with my Goddess-self.  This has been an exciting and powerful experience for me.  Additionally, I’ve been fortunate to work with three separate Goddesses as my primary spirit guides.  My experiences with them have been a blessing.
